Angela Akins Gracia had a passion for sports from the time she was a little girl and decided to take up golf. After a few lessons, the Angela Akins Gracia learned the art of making a steady and powerful swing. With time she became experienced and won more than 8 events during her high school period. During her days as the head coach of the Mable Falls high school golf team, Garcia led her team to third place in the 2003 regional event, which they then finished with a sixth-place finish in the 2006 competition. Garcia, who owns 17 medals to her national record and is a part of The Women's Texas Golf Association an absolute golf prodigy. Garcia began her studies in Texas Christain University, where she had a few years studying, before moving to University of Texas. After arriving at Texas Christain University, she was exposed to a spirited setting that made it easier for her to improve her golfing skills. Angela Akin Garcia, despite her happiness and fulfillment as a professional golfer, had no intention of pursuing the career. She instead pursued the field of journalism. So after graduating from the University, she was offered a position as a reporter for Fox Sports Southwest.
